I’m having a major love affair with this blouse. I’m nearly all-but-compelled to purchase ever color since Target has them on sale this week for just $15. {ps: look similar to the dress I was wearing on Monday?} When looking for lace-like pieces, it’s ideal to find ones with lining (minimizes the “what to wear underneath” stress) and ones with a little structure so it doesn’t show every little body detail. And, while it can be challenging for the average girl to pull off peplum this shirt is the perfect example of what to look for: it’s not too voluminous (which is challenging to work, especially daytime, and can make you appear wider than you are) and it’s not so cropped (which I keep seeing!) that you’re concerned with baring the belly. I feel so comfortable in this, and zipper detailing along the back? Hello, my love.
xhilaration blouse (sizes selling out; or, non-peplum option, both $15 this week!) || jeans: j brand jeans (last seen here) || necklace: “s” initial c/o maya brenner || bag: vintage coach, the “court” (similar to the j. crew edie, or this real leather bag for less; want to learn more about buying vintage coach? excellent post here by extra petite blog) || watch: michael kors || bracelet: h&m || heels: via TJ Maxx (pretty nude option)
Umm, apparently this photo is why real”style bloggers” don’t take outfit photos in the grass. Promise you I’m wearing nude wedges!
