Outfit: Go Bold with Denim

Hi all! Hope you had a wonderful extended weekend! While I stayed away from the mall (I hit up Gap the Wednesday before Thanksgiving), I did find a few goodies online, including a new DSLR camera.  Get ready for some even better photos after today!

This look: I have been obsessing over colored denim all season yet haven’t had a chance to show it to you. While you can buy J Brand colored denim for nearly $200, check out Old Navy and Gap this season (among others) for an array of colors that can mix up your usual look. Perk: since it’s not traditional denim, it’s also suitable in a semi-casual office! I’m now on the hunt for the perfect deep plum and burgundy/rust pairs, plus black and grey are always staples in my closet. 

Hesitant about color? Pair it with a black, white or another neutral to tone down the look.

    Love how you’ve styled the colored skinnies! I really wanted the ones at Old Navy but they were too short on me…I almost bought them for tucking into boots but figured I’d want to be able to wear them with flats and heels as you’ve done here. The hunt continues!

      The hunt definitely continues. Gap and F21 have some options, and you can always consider giving them a slight cuff at the bottom so it’s purposely a little short! I actually got these in the ankle to have it land ankle-length. I never get this lucky… always hemming!
