When I think about becoming the best version of me, a lot of ways to get there comes into mind. But sometimes as much as I want to go out there and live it, it helps to hear it from people who have been there, lived it and have already course corrected. Whether it’s personally or professionally, there are a handful of great books out there from some wise women and men that are pretty awesome, mostly quick reads that can shed so much light.
Yeah, there’s Lean In but most of us have been there, done that… or at least generally know the concept. I read #GIRLBOSS last year and already want to reread it… so good! {it’s like an episode of Friends, there’s always a new little nugget (or laugh!) to discover}. These have been in my Amazon wish list section so I hope one of them resonates with you; I’m really interested in getting to all of these in the next few hours (though The Fringe Hours sounds the most tempting at the moment!).

I read #GirlBoss, but I would have to recommend The Glitter Plan (by Juicy Couture’s founders)! It’s much more authentic about creating a business brand from the ground up…they tell you when they absolutely messed up and missed opportunities.
