I have a few moments when the 15- and 25-year old me are in shock at my serious necklace collection. I’m 33 and wondering, when did the shift happen that a t-shirt and jeans without a necklace just wasn’t enough?? The bling just makes me so happy, and in my estimation, totally elevates an outfit — especially when I’m hanging with my daughter — from mom style to cool girl style. {did I just really say that?}
Are you someone hesitant about going bold? Must confess this new BaubleBar necklace is such a keeper. Ob-sessed! It’s amazing because it’s bold yet the colors are subtle enough if you’re working your way into playing around with the trend. It also comes in deeper hues, here. If you’re necklace weary, use it as a topper to a solid color blouse or your favorite LBD. Look for lightweight pieces (this one fits the bill) so it doesn’t bother your neck after a full day, and go costume. You don’t need to spend a lot. It’s why I’ve become such a BaubleBar fan. The pieces are so cool, and prices are totally on point (most under $40-$50). I have quite a few (remember Monday’s post? Both are BB), and I always get compliments, plus they’re easy to style and I don’t feel like I’ve depleted my savings to look stylish. I’ve already worn this one twice in less than a week.
