Another Monday, another outfit! With the high-low hemline craze going strong (I showed you this high-low trend in dress form this Spring), I couldn’t stop staring at this blouse from Loehmann’s. While I’ve shied away from every seemingly ‘crop top’ since seeing the trend start (hello, 30-something mom with a belly she’s not eager to show off over here), this blouse had enough belly coverage yet also concealed the tush a little. Win! I often do the half-tuck with a blouse tucked in the front and left out in the back so this accomplishes this for me. Have you tried these trends at all?
TAGG tip: if the blouse is slightly too short, consider a cami underneath, even in a contrasting color to add some visual interest. Considering a purple cami the next time around with this blouse and a pair of skinny jeans.
blouse: loehmann’s (june 2012, similar for under $20) // pants: j. crew cafe capri (april 2012, similar; dozen colors and styles available) // bracelet: baublebar vault (april 2012) and smaller ones from sworovski and my gram // heels: target (june 2012, just $24.99!) // bag: purchased during a trip to amsterdam (2008)
Two things: Notice my new social media tabs at the bottom of each post? As it says, sharing is caring! Hope it’s now a bit easier to share, comment, etc around here. I’m always open to suggestions so don’t be shy. And, #2: BLOGGERS… want to be part of the first Vent Sesh link-up on Wednesday? Email me at [email protected] for details!
