As you know I’m a bit of a cardigan addict. I’ve amassed about three floral cardigans and I highly recommend you do as well. It doesn’t seem like an obvious ‘closet must’ however it adds such vibrancy to a look be it for work for weekend. This cardigan has been around for a few season and continues to bring in the compliments. I’ve even worn this out, buttoned up like a blouse with a tank underneath, with a pair of jeans. Loves.
For summer work styles, look for brighter colors and light weight fabrics, but me mindful of rising hemlines and showing too much skin (a workplace no-no). And, while our office is business casual, I wouldn’t wear this when meeting with a law firm yet it’s perfectly appropriate for our meeting with a non-profit client… consider what you have going on each day.
Not a skirt person? Swap this out for a pair of pants; I love navy.
