New year, new and improved ways to do things! Even if you just take away one tip, hopefully it will minimize your laundry time, or at least make it a bit less painful. While I personally don’t hate folding clothes (I worked for years at American Eagle and also Burdines, before it became Macy’s), I just don’t have the time… finding smarter, faster ways to accomplish the massive laundry piles is key. Here are some of my favorites…

Hi all! Hope you’re enjoying your weekend. We’re just back from a little jaunt to the Reunion Resort in Orlando and I’m now cranking through the laundry. Back to reality, right?
When it comes to laundry, I know I’ve mentioned one of my favorite items in the past don’t think I’ve shown you its power. Really, take advantage of Downy Wrinkle Releaser; you’ll never need an iron again. Seriously, I don’t iron. Never. Ok, maybe twice a year. Literally. That’s about it. (Otherwise it gets sent to the dry cleaner! Truth).

My bro actually sprays this on himself once the clothes are on, however I prefer to put an item on a hanger, spray, smooth my hands over it to wipe away some wrinkles and then wait about 10 minutes to dry. Best on cotton (I’ve never used on silk). Keep one in the laundry room and one in/near your closet… sometimes you’re tempted to wash an item — or send it to the dry cleaner — just because it has a wrinkle. No longer. Enjoy!

While I think every gal should know how to fold a fitted sheet — simply because it makes your linen closet look way nicer and you avoid a million wrinkles when you put the sheet on your bed — I get the sense not all of us know how to do so.
