The dress I’m wearing, a major early summer score from J. Crew Factory, was purchased for this occasion: OMG, we have a wedding/major event and I have nothing to wear! Having great pieces — and I love a color instead of black, particularly if it’s for a daytime event — that can work a myriad of ways is a huge closet helper. I’ve worn this dress for a rehearsal dinner with bold earrings and black strappy heels, and another time with a blazer for an evening work-related event.

There is a fine line between dewy and greasy skin. This may seem a bit pricey for a primer, but I have never used anything that works better for helping my makeup stay-put in the most humid temperatures. I discovered it when we lived in North Carolina and even during the sweltering August heat, I was shine-free all-day long!

A brief round-up of TAGG’s favorite posts of the week included below. A little shorter than usual because I was hit by some crazy cold, cough thing nearly all last week, and this past weekend went to Disney for a little fam adventure. So. much. fun. Our girl was a bit too young when we took her last year (loved it, just got a little scared), but this time? The look on her face when she met Ariel — and then the look on all of ours when she literally copped a feel (ha, we have picture proof!)!! — was priceless. Totally wiped out now but worth it all. Are you a Disney person? I’m so not a crowds person but seeing it through our girl’s eyes, and riding Space Mountain for the first time in probably 15 years was more fun than I’ve had in a long time. All about creating memories, right?
