Sometimes the excitement of springtime color can be too much for one girl. Ha! While I’m all about the brights and stripes, I’ve been gravitating toward a ton of black and white outfits lately. It’s classic, easy and pretty much always looks put together. For summer, show off a bright polish, or have fun with accessories. If I wasn’t wearing this bold mint necklace, I’d probably grab my fuchsia purse so instead I took my new mother’s day white bag out for a spin during a recent girls night. I’m a sucker for white accessories, with bags being no exception. This new one is that perfect size that has enough room for work, yet not bulky for nights out. {no bag swapping!}. The strap also converts from short to cross-body. Obsessed.
Also must mention these two jewels: both summer favorites! Baublebar was kind enough to send me this gorgeous minty gem from its new collection with Anthropologie, which has just the right amount of glam without being over-the-top (or too heavy) for summer. And, how amazing are these bar earrings? My friend Katrina of Dear Marny curated them with a friend after only seeing way, way pricier options. I met her this year, instantly bonding over blogging, brunch… and bar earrings! She has the best jewelry taste, and clearly connections. Love that she created this more affordable option and has a limited number more available on her site; needless to say I was among her first customers. So chic, and a fun change from my studs.
Here’s a photo of the bag with the solo strap, which can also go cross-body style. Very convenient!
