Ogle or Own: Leopard Coat

 Ogle: Free People ($248) || Own: Forever 21 (on sale, $43.96)

While leopard can be a bold statement it’s also a print that season after season is a classic styled many ways. Now: the jacket! I was obsessed when I saw Grace in her Free People leopard swing coat but there’s no way this Florida girl — who wears coats about three times per year — can justify the cost, so when Instagram pal (@mrsstrock) and blogger favorite, Caitlin, showed off this Forever 21 find in various ways I knew I had to make it mine. It just arrived and despite my husband’s opinions, which, ha, shall remain unsaid!, I’m completely smitten.  So amazing for a night out with your LBD, or pair with jeans and flats to pull your whole look together this winter. Certainly a closet staple you’ll gravitate toward year after year.

    I am so obsessed with leopard coats - I really want to find a printed one rather than a furry one and it seems to be so elusive in my price range! Saw one last Winter in Australia and i am still kicking myself for not pulling the trigger on buying it…

    Yay! Can’t go wrong with leopard, sorry hubby! My sister got me the same coat for Christmas! I feel like it runs huge, no? I got a medium but really could use a small - - and I never wear a small from F21!

    It is quite the awesome coat, I’m sure you will love it! My husband hates coats like this as well…I would probably get banned from commenting if I posted what he says about them lol…but I want one too!

    I went back and forth and back and forth…and then I thought, gosh, at that price, why am I waffling?! :) I bit the bullet. I ended up going with the large (darn boobs!) so hopefully it won’t be TOO big, but better too big than too small. Yay, leopard!

    Coats     are great, but they are more my daughter’s style than mine. She is going through an animal phase, which has included some animal pattern purchases like these leopard coats. We just bought her one at Burlington Coat Factory. They had great deals and she ADORES her new coat.
