Outfit: Black and Brown

Sometimes you need to throw fashion rules out the window! One of them: color combos. I am head-over-heels with not only navy and black together, but brown and black. And, I’m not the only one. As the temperatures drop, you’ll see star sightings and smokin’  TAGG gals everywhere donning this great color combo.

The most popular, easiest way to pull off black and brown together? Brown boots with black tights/leggings and any top. Tip: look for a brown boot with rich, caramel and cognac tones, not too dark, so you can easily see the color contrast.

Check out my example below — I wore this outfit on Saturday to an a “Sip & See” during the day, and then to happy hour at night. Another example: last year, I donned knee-high brown boots with leggings (though the boots could be a touch lighter).
