For those of you who think it’s impossible to put together an on-trend outfit for $100 or less, this post is determined to prove you wrong (sorry!). I’ve been working on a style challenge with RetailMeNot with eight bloggers to show you an array of affordable outfit options. For those of you not already in-the-know about RetailMeNot, it’s a bookmark-worthy site that provides coupons and codes to thousands of retailers. Filter by brand, do a search, or check out the top results (there’s even Mother’s Day promos now!). To show you how easy it is to use the site, they generously provided us bloggers $100 to complete a look, benefiting from the codes they dish up. We scored a blazer, blouse, jeans and flats for under $100! See our look, and then check out all of spring inspiration here!
Personally, as a gal with limited time to spare, RetailMeNot has been for ages a lifesaver because it does all my shopping legwork. Visit the site for the latest deals instead of hours visiting every store in the mall or around town, or going through the gazillion sale emails. Kind of a duh, right?

When it comes to totes it’s definitely possible to save or splurge. Splurge on classics like the Michael Kors option (I’ve had it over a year, use it for work, weekend, babe, you name it, and it wears incredible well… in white, no less!), and save on prints, brights and straw totes. Even the brightest pattern above, which by the way, fully looks like it belongs in a Mara Hoffman runway, is a steal and can be totally work appropriate in most settings. And, the Lilly? Under $100!
A heads up, Target’s selection is amazing right now, with everything just about under $35. Total win.*

*not saying this because of tagg’s inner circle connection; while researching for this post we legit wanted to buy the entire web site. True statement.
Call us crazy but a crossbody has magical powers. Wear it daytime at work, or running errands, and then use it on the weekend or for date night when you don’t want to worry about holding a clutch. Dress it up by just putting it on one shoulder, or look for an option that does go clutch-style. Each of these are so perfect and will certainly take you beyond this season. Win. The fringe will become your ultimate music festival bag, the green is insanely classic and luxe, and that white is the perfect evening contradiction to a black bag. The watermelon can work for day, stripes jazz up an otherwise basic outfit and the blue? No words!

Pssst: check back this afternoon for part two of our perfect purses post!
On Tuesday morning, Target shared for the first time to magazine editors, reporters — and this blog! — its fall collection, which will hit stores in August. The collection offered a refreshing update to pieces we’ve been seeing the past 12 to 18 months, which means you’ll still be in style come fall (always a concern with fast trends). Look for continuing style juxstopistions, from a sequin collar on a flannel to camo flats becoming a go-to neutral (envision this girl jumping for joy!). Continue to pair your boyfriend denim with blazers and heels, and look for leather details as we approach holiday.
Lots of pictures, and style inspiration (get ready to go pin-crazy!):
This bag, the structure, the classic color mix, the handle and long strap. It’s going to be a fast seller.
So many good patterns + excellent color palette. The paisley skirt in the back is a dead ringer for much pricier brands.
