OK, let’s be honest with each other: sometimes there are moments that it takes everything in your being to not run out of the house in your pajamas, sweats, workout clothes or something similar. I know I’ve been in that moment. So when time is limited or just because it’s summer and you want to be effortless and on-the-go, it’s key to find ways to mix cozy pieces in a way that still looks appropriate if you ran into your boss, client or someone a little vip. Score a few tees like this one that pair with fun shorts like these, colored chino shorts, white denim (which miraculously feels more put together than blue denim) or even a casual skirt for an effortless chic vibe. I’m such a fan of this “the home. t,” which is that perfect shade of grey, ultra comfy and declares my love of my home state (yet also feels age appropriate). And, if that’s not enough: a portion of the proceeds go to multiple sclerosis (MS) research. With two family members afflicted, I know how first-hand the value (and who doesn’t love cute items that benefit a great cause?).

There’s definitely other ways to chic-up a tee; if you’re on Pinterest you know you’ve seen everything from tulle and pencil skirts and layers of chunky jewels, to skinny denim with sky-high heels. I looooove all of that but for daytime jaunts or major errands accomplishing time, here’s a few ways to kick up your t-shirt style. Use it as inspiration. For example, would love a denim jacket, wedges and a bright tote, or tying it in a knot on the side and pairing with a cas’ cute skirt.
