Blog-cation: More Time for Shoe Shopping.

July 6, 2011

Hi ya’ll!  Back from my blog-cation and ready for action! haha. I’ll post soon some photos of what we did and what I wore during our adventures in Vermont but until then I had to share with you my shoe finds.

How ridiculous that I go to a casual place like Vermont and come back with three pairs if shoes?! Insane! I’m feeling a wee bit like Jodi from Live FabuLESS (follow her on FB to learn more about her shoe obsession!).

Check out my cuties; I just couldn’t leave any of these behind.

Sofft peep-toe platform suede heels: scored these bad boys at the Powerhouse Mall tent sale in West Lebanon, NH, for just $30. Been looking for more comfy, statement making black heels that I can wear with skirts or longer pants. What makes me smile is that they’re currently full price at Macy’s. YAY good deal!

Gap ballet city flats in light lavendar: I adore these flats. They’re comfy and a fraction of the price of others. Since Gap is always having a sale I refuse to pay the regular $39.50+, and this time was no exception. I found these at the Gap in Hartford, CT (my fave: no sales tax!) for under $12! Check your Gap during big sales: one color or another of these are always on sale.

UGG boots in tan: OK, I can’t believe I got these but I’m soooo not an UGG’s person but I couldn’t pass it up (especially since one of my bffs and my MIL were cheering me on!). Turns out these are a men’s but hell, they fit me just fine! I foun these at the Farm-Way in Bradford, VT (about five minutes from where my hubs parents have a home) for $70; half price! I never, ever, ever see UGG’s like this and well, I’ll have them forever.

I cannot believe that you bought a pair of Uggs! A long, long time ago (okay, like, 9 months ago), I wrote a post called “Ugh for Uggs” because I cannot stand them, and now you have turned to the dark side! I still love you. But only because you redeemed yourself with those Gap ballet flats. :)

(I kid. I’ll always love you.)

Yay! I love shoes so much! You really got some fabuLess deals! :) Unlike Bonnie, I don’t hate UGGs (though I won’t say that I love them, either- those types of boots are just a necessity for our 6 months of winter). :) Love your choices, though. I’m looking forward to seeing your other photos from the trip! We want to go to Vermont sometime, as well. Kellen has family there and they have a Maple farm…yay! P.S. Your font looks much better than it did earlier! Nice work!

I love your Soft open toe heels. They are gorgeous!! I’m not a fan of Uggs, but I’m sure they would make a nice, warm winter boot.

ha, what’s funny is that i’m not sure i’m a huge fan of ugg’s but somehow the deal got the better of me. however, nerdy me wore them around the house last night while not feeling well/chilly, and they were so cozy! hehe

Wow, that’s an awesome deal… and glad you agree with my love of wearing them around the house. “House shoes” like we’re 70. Love it. :)
