One of TAGG’s most popular posts ever has been my mini attempt at a DIY — how I store my make-up brushes and eyeliners and whatnot. So, when I saw this article from Better Homes & Gardens I knew you ladies needed to see it! Check out 30 Ways to Store More in Your Bathroom. Some are genius ways to repurpose items you already have — love the cake stand idea in the bathroom and even on your nightstand! — and the lazy susan! Man, that lazy Susan can be used all over; she makes accessing my spices in my deep pantry so much easier.

Check out more fun, totally useful bathroom storage ideas. Thanks BH&G!

And, pssst: Banana Republic’s gorgeous, colorful and pattern-filled collab with Trina Turk starts today. There’s blouses, maxis, beautiful jewelry, totes, you name it. Be one of the first to shop it here!

Let’s welcome back Erin from Thanks, I Made It! for another awesome DIY. Friendship bracelets are everywhere so I’m glad we all can now say we’re in the know how to make our own. No excuses!
Hi TAGG readers! I’m back with another do-it-yourself project for The Average Girl’s Guide. During the warmer months, I love to play with accessories that not only have lots of color, but different textures as well. Mix up your embroidery thread friendship bracelets this summer with rhinestone and metal chains using this simple DIY.
Tools and Materials:
Chain long enough to reach around your bracelet
Rhinestone chain the same length as chain
Jump rings
Embroidery needle
Jewelry pliers (not pictured)

You should have seen my necklaces a month ago. Since moving into our new home a few months ago I didn’t have a place to store my necklaces so they were just a big pile of scrambled necklaces sitting on my bathroom counter. Daughter would pull, I couldn’t find what I wanted… it was a hot mess.  I used to hang them on these awesome Command hooks in brushed nickel (a great, affordable option!) however after seeing Niki’s display I knew I had to up the ante with my hooks. She used mostly knobs but I went a little bigger as you can see below. I found all of these at Anthropologie. It cost me close to $100 for all; a totally worthy indulgence because I look at is as art in my closet and man does it make me happy!

A close-up of my new bubble necklaces (details here), plus these hooks. Adoring the owl, my monogram A and stripes!

Necklaces in relationship to where I hang my clothes (on these amazing hangers). Here’s all my dresses (skirts further right), organized by swim/super casual, work appropriate, nights out (notice the sequins!) and a variety of LBDs.

I can’t believe Mother’s Day is this weekend! If you’re still on the hunt for the perfect Mother’s Day gift for your mama or you’re a guy scouring the web at the last minute for a thoughtful gift, here are a few ideas I’m loving. While any mom is sure to adore something purchased from a store, consider instead or add to a store-bought gift something special that a mom will cherish forever.
