Weekly Outfit Recap: June 20, 2011

June 20, 2011

Hi ladies!
Welcome to post numerous dos where I recap all the outfits I wore this past week (here’s the first outfit recap!). I’ve been getting into the groove of taking pictures every day…
let me tell you though, having you guys as my judges (at least that’s how it can feel sometimes) has really made me more conscious of my looks. Probably in a good way.
I’m always thinking about an extra accessory or a way to make each outfit a bit cuter.
Hope you like some of the decisions I’ve made this week. There’s one or two that are a little “eh” in my book (looking back at least) but at the end of the day,
I’m happy with me and how I present myself to the world.
Would love to hear if you’re doing anything new wardrobe-wise and if you have any recommendations for moi. I decided I need more bright/neon-ish clothes, so they’re on my list now.
Wishing you — the coolest gals I know — the best week ever!

You are utterly adorable! I think you should try to start posting them daily if possible, so we can take them in more thoroughly and comment on each one easier. I know it's a lot more work, though! :) I love your Saturday and Thursday outfits!

Loving all your looks! I think that outfit for your Grandpa's b-day was so chic, and I love the bright colors you wore Thursday! Also, I love how you did your hair on Wednesday- so cute! Hope you had a good weekend and enjoyed Father's day with the hubby! :)

  • Too cute! Thursday ROCKS and should totally be repeated asap. :-)

LOVE the outfit you wore to your Grandpa's party!

I am a very casual dress kind of person, so therefore I am partial to Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (night). Weds' pop of color really enhanced the outfit. Thurs' outfit very appealing to me - and looks fabulous on you! Friday night's outfit helped to make you seem very laid back and comfy - the way things should be with friends! (and I agree with you on the cardi over the dress - next time go without it) xoxo

Thanks for all your feedback everyone!!
Melissa: wish I could do outfit posts every day, but it's just too much for me. Maybe I'll go back to just doing them weekly or posting 2-3.. I miss being able to show different components to a look. This is just the one shot.
Mel: I know, right?? Gap did an AWESOME job with this one. Don't love the material because I feel like it's something that could so easily pull, but it's so into it I think it's worth it.
Kimberly: Love your feedback. I'm a more laid back person, too. Hard for me to get dressed up for meetings sometimes!
