Freak-out mode was in full-effect last week. Target HQ invited myself and about a dozen other bloggers in the “Inner Circle” group to learn more about everything from how they bring a product to market to seeing the inside of the test kitchen (and sampling a few recipes, natch). We also learned so many more fun little tips that I hope to integrate into future posts. One of coolest parts of the trip –ok, who am I kidding, of my life! — was working with celeb make-up artist, Sonia Kashuk, to do our own make-up and then the beyond talented, Sam Spector (stylist extroidinaire, and so nice/fun!), had a rack full of clothes to help me find the perfect outfit. For the more corporate side of my life, he created a chic, professional look. I looovvveee how this Sam put together, how he worked with me instead of saying “this is what you should wear” because the end result is that he made me feel powerful yet stylish. I would have never paired this blazer with this skirt but it totally works. And, I could fully add a more corporate bag, and then take off the blazer for after-work drinks. Amazing + so eternally grateful for this opportunity!

And, so excited to introduce you to the other ladies in the Inner Circle. These girls are each so talented and inspiring. I most heart that Target put together such a dynamic group, in age, background, interests, location, you name it. I suppose my only happy shock is that there’s another redhead (that never happens!).
