OK, ladies, let’s be honest: who doesn’t love to know what someone else is adding in their shopping cart? I don’t care if it’s at the grocery store, IKEA or J. Crew, nearly all of us enjoy a little (nosy!) glimpse into the lives of someone else. Call it nosy, I call it educating myself about good options. For a little Friday joyride reading, thought I’d share with you my latest random purchases. Let me know if you like this topic and I’ll continue to share every so often.
Keep reading to why these items stole my heart + where I found them.
Palm Beach Entertaining: so excited I ordered this. It’s an insider’s guide to entertaining, and disclosure: co-authored by one of my besties. I got a sneak peek of this hardcover and it’s absolutely beautiful (i.e. perfect for coffee table or console) and is stuffed with great recipes, tips and more.
Burgandy coated skinnies: Did you know that Kohl’s is kind of amazing these days?! I didn’t until I popped in there and wanted to buy the whole store. For my upcoming trip to NYC, I took these home and adore them. And, I just read yesterday that burgundy is apparently the hot color for me; go me. Plus, recently discovered best part: the inside is RED! Amazing for cuffing action. PS: I also bought this striped peplum dress and this polka dot number, which are amazing at less than $40 each.
Mini monogram for iPhone home button: ok, total splurge yesterday but couldn’t resist! Mini monogram on my home button, and just $3 for four, with free shipping! Designed by a local company I majorly heart for monogramming anything, I’m convinced this is three bones well spent (less than a latte!).
Corksicle: my new go-to housewarming/hostess gift! Think this is the coolest invention ever to keep wine at the perfect temp. If you’re close with the person, include a bottle of wine or even wine charms.
AK Anne Klein leopard heels: you saw these on Monday’s post. I’m totally smitten. Uber comfy, totally sexy, great heel height, and umm… leopard. Sold. (ps: now on sale, and comes in eight more solids, prints and glitter styles).
Teachable Clock and Nightlight: mom truth is that I’m totally terrified when we move my daughter into her bed she’ll be trying to crawl into our bed at 2 a.m. every night. I hear these clocks are a huge help. They come armed with a “OK to Wake” feature that changes colors (parent programmable) so children learn when they can leave their room.
Puma kid’s sneaks: it’s impossible to get my daughter’s shoes on each day. Honestly, it can become an all-out crying battle around this joint come 8 a.m. Since she’s a purple addict, we hoping to woo her with these. Wishing them came in my size! . Fingers crossed she starts to wear them!
… ps: you’ll probably notice I’m a HUGE Amazon fan. That’s because I have the Prime membership — the $80 annual membership that gets you free shipping on a million things (or $3.99 overnight regardless the weight… I’ve overnighted strollers, 50 lb. printers, etc). You also get instant movies and videos, often free, and more.
