If you caught my tweets and Instagram pics, you probably saw that we spent a week in Vermont. Gorgeous (though lack of cell phone towers slightly drives this addicted Type A crazy!). We stayed with my mother and father-in-law so the husband and I took a night to ourselves in Stowe, the popular ski town about an hour from the house. Instant love! We strolled into some shops, where I found two amazing skirts at a place aptly called Boutique, and we had dinner at Harrison’s across from our digs, Green Mountain Inn, where our room had a jacuzzi just inches from the canopy bed. Very cool/happy little 24 hours.
As for attire, here’s mine for dinner. You guessed it: I was by far the brightest there. I just couldn’t help myself!
This vacation meant I brought my hair iron yet it didn’t even leave its travel case (ps: adore this. Have used for years. Finish your hair, put the hot iron in and you’re out.). My hair was either this super casual look, a top knot or loose waves. Might not look as chic, but every once in a while doesn’t our hair deserve a break? That’s the logic I’m going with!
