This outfit is all about mixing casual with the…. not so casual. I’ve been doing this more and more lately, and seeing others style this way as well. Pair your bigger baubles with tees, your major high heels with jeans, cargos and skirts. You should own very few single-wear items. Unsure how to start? I was just telling my mother-in-law: go into your closet and start to mix and match items you normally never would pair together. See how it looks. If you think it has potential, go for it! It’s just one day.

With neon being a hot trend for Spring, and stripes bigger than ever, I grabbed this cute tee from Gap on Saturday, knowing it had infinite potential. In the dressing room I paired it with a metallic mini skirt (pic on my Instagram) and loved it equally as much.

Hair went up; I’m SO overdue for a hair cut it’s insane. Finally scheduled one for Tuesday. You’ll be free of my split ends by then.

PS: notice the new back drop? It’s the new side of our home!
